This page is the general donation hub for Alpha Genesis Community Development Corporation (CDC). Our mission is to strengthen strategic partnerships through arts and culture to build a vibrant, thriving community.

We strengthen and enrich our neighborhoods by providing spaces that utilize our community’s unique history and proximity to the Harriet Tubman UGRR Byway to inspire conversation, embrace and celebrate diversity, and foster economic development. .

Our work blends cultural expression with economic empowerment. Through public art projects such as the Harriet Tubman “Beacon of Hope” Statue and the “Take My Hand” Mural, we celebrate heritage, foster pride, and inspire connection. Beyond the arts, we are developing the North Star Village—revitalizing historic downtown buildings to provide opportunities for local Black-owned businesses and create a foundation for lasting economic growth.

We are equally dedicated to preparing the next generation. Through Minty’s, our program for high school students (ages 14–18), we provide paid employment and professional development opportunities that equip young people with skills, confidence, and pathways to success.
